Think about how you felt at the start of your journey and what your questions were. Brainstorm these ideas and turn them into a reel. In your post, answer these questions and give helpful advice. If you who prefer not to talk, you can create a nice graphic for your grid in your brand colours and style.

⚡️ Trend of the Week

This trend of the week is one of the coolest ones we’ve seen going round yet - it's actually been trending for a while now! It’s upbeat and light hearted. Teams are taping their phones to the ceiling, then dancing to the audio “Surround Sound” - jidsv on Instagram. Record on your normal camera app, then edit the video on either Instagram reels or an external app like Capcut or Inshot.

📢 Marketing Spotlight

Colour picking on Instagram 

Did you know you can colour pick on Instagram stories? If you take a screenshot or create a graphic with your brand colours in it, you will have an easy way to keep your account branded.

If you are posting a story, add the screenshot as a photo then select the colour pick tool on the bottom left of the screen, hover over the colour you would like, until the tool appears in that shade. Then hold down on the background until it fills your screen with that colour, creating a story background with your exact colours! Check out my tutorial HERE.

😇 Someone who is SMASHING it

I love shouting out businesses (big and small) who are doing well with their marketing. This week we have chosen @carmellangdesigns

She creates very useful and detailed videos but adds a lovely personal touch by chatting to her audience. This allows you to see her face and relate to her more. She has found her brand colours and has used them throughout her account, creating a brilliant and recognisable feed.
